List of Foreign Currency Rates Today

Exchange rate is the value of one currency for the purpose of conversion to another. It is also regarded as the value of one country's currency in relation to another currency.

Both Reference exchange rates and middle-market exchange rates are based on ISO 4217:2015 (Codes for the representation of currencies), who specifies the format for a three-letter alphabetic code and three-digit numeric code assigned to each currency.

International money transfers can be expensive. Banks could charge you up to 5% in hidden fees for transferring money abroad, which makes your transfer significantly more than you’d think. We recommend using Wise (formerly TransferWise) which is often cheaper. For example, a 500 USD to EUR transfer could be up to 70% cheaper with Wise versus select providers*.

Exchange rates has a limit of 32 currencies and update rates is once per day from ECB and use one source EUR, for regular (10 minutes) update use Forex Reference Suite that supports more that 150 currencies and more currency sources. Integrate automated Currency Converter API or Exchange Rates API to your system, service or software.


Reference currency rates are obtained from European Central Bank and Other countries Central banks like Deutsche Bundesbank, La Banque de France, De Nederlandsche Bank and etc.
The middle-market exchange rates are calculated using the averages of aggregated (bid and ask) prices offered by the market makers and quotes from financial institutions.

ECB updates the values daily between 2.15 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. CET
