1. General

1.1 What does this website do? provides software for validating and calculating International Bank Account Numbers.
Our system can do the following:

- Check if an IBAN is VALID ( using check digit algorithms )
- Identify bank information from an IBAN
- Calculate an IBAN from domestic account number and bank code

1.2 Who needs this service?

Every business who deals with IBAN and bank wire payments, domestic or international may find our services useful.
By validating every IBAN before processing payments, businesses save time delays and extra taxes in failed bank wire transactions.

1.3 Why the website does not display bank data any more?

Our website has a free demo IBAN validation and Calculation pages.
The free demo however is limited to protect our services from abusive use.
Once you have exceeded the free queries, you can purchase an unlimited plan at our licensing page

1.4 Why the IBAN validation  does not work for my country?

Not all countries have integrated the IBAN system, your country may not support it.
However, please do let us know, so we can investigate and provide you with more details.

1.5 How accurate is the bank data?

Our database is compiled from multiple official sources of bank contact information and is updated regularly.
We strive to keep it as up to date as possible. If you believe you encountered an inaccuracy, please do let us know.
We will always investigate all issues and correct them as soon as possible.

2. Technical

2.1 Do you have an API?

Yes, we do provide API access for all our services.
You can find the documentation in our developers section.

2.2 Do you have a bulk/mass validation function?

Yes, for our members, we do provide a bulk IBAN validation interface.
The system accepts many IBANs one in a row and returns the results in CSV on the page or downloadable CSV/Excel file.

2.3 Is your API RESTful?

Yes, our API is REST based.
Please do refer to our developers section for more detailed look inside the API.

2.4 How many queries can we run per second?

We have tested our system to be stress free for up to 10 queries per second.
However, for larger transactions ( thousands of validations ) we suggest using the bulk IBAN validation tool in your client area.
It is designed to perform a single transaction with enormous numbers with the least amount of resources.

2.5 Can we get the BIC / SWIFT code from the IBAN with your service?

Yes, our database contains the BIC codes for most supported countries and their banks.
Our API and our manual search provide this peace of information if available.

2.6 Can I test the service before purchasing?

Yes, you can register for a trial account at our Signup Page .
The trial account has 100 free queries available for you to test the API and manual interfaces.
The trial account will expire after one month.

2.7 My demo account ran out of queries, but we need some more to test more?

Sure, please ask us politely and we will add additional queries to your demo account.
We often do this to allow our future clients evaluate our service thoroughly.

3. Licensing

3.1 How can I purchase access to your services?

You can purchase a premium account with manual interface and API access from our order section.
Please choose the appropriate plan and service for you and use the "Purchase" button to proceed with checkout.

3.2 What payment methods do you accept?

Our payment provider ( Avangate ) supports a wide variety of payment methods. You can pay via a Credit Card, Bank Wire Transfer, PayPal and others.

3.3 Is there anyone I can talk to to get more information on your services?

Yes, our sales team is available for calls Monday to Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm CET.

3.4 Does my account have an expiration date?

Yes, all our plans come with one year membership.
Your account will expire exactly 12 months after your have purchased your plan.

3.5 Will I loose my unused queries after my account expire?

Yes, your queries are available for your membership period.
After you renew your license you will start with the appropriate queries for your purchased plan.

3.6 Can I purchase the bank information database and download it?

No, we only provide access to our IBAN validation and calculation services.
The bank database is not sold separate from our services.

4. Account Support

4.1 How can I contact support?

You can submit a support ticket from your Client Area.

4.2 How fast will I get a reply to my ticket?

Our support is working Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm CET.
In working hours we are usually able to get back to you within the hour.

Outside working hours the reply may be delayed.

4.3 Can I update my profile information?

Yes, in your client area -> My Account section you can modify your account's contact details.

4.4 Can I change my password?

Yes, you can easily change your password from your Client Area -> My Account section.

4.5 Can I change my username?

No, your username can not be changed from your Client Area.
